The medicine is charged separately, and only if a prescriber issues a prescription for you — you are never charged for medicine you aren't prescribed, and membership does not buy or guarantee a prescription. Prices are illustrative placeholders. ⚠ Real pricing, auto-renewal terms (Fair Trading Act / CGA), and any “first in line for new therapies” claims must be finalised with the unit-economics model and TAPS-vetted before launch — see context/business/vela-club.md.

Pricing questions

Why isn't this funded?

Pharmac does not fund GLP-1 medicines for weight management in New Zealand, so they are paid for privately. This is the same whether you go through Changing Curves, a GP, or a pharmacy.

Do I pay before I know if I'm approved?

No. The eligibility check and booking are free. You only pay the programme fee and medicine cost if a prescriber confirms treatment is right for you.

Can I cancel?

Yes — Changing Curves Club is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime.

What is Changing Curves Club?

It's your membership for clinical care and support — prescriber reviews, care-team messaging, dose guidance, and habit & nutrition coaching that stays useful even if you pause or stop medication. As Changing Curves introduces new Medsafe-approved metabolic-health programmes, members are first in line. Your medicine is always separate, and only ever charged if a prescriber approves it for you.
