Legal
How Changing Curves collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information, under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Last updated 5 June 2026. ⚠ Draft — to be reviewed and finalised by the founder (legal) before reliance, and expanded once the clinical service collects health information (which engages the Health Information Privacy Code 2020).
Changing Curves (working name) is preparing to launch a New Zealand telehealth weight-management service. This policy covers the information we collect through this website while we are pre-launch — principally to operate our waitlist.
To let you know when consultations open, to send founding-member information you've asked for, and to understand and improve how the site is used. We will not send marketing you haven't asked for, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Your details are held with reputable service providers (our email/list provider and website host) under their security controls. We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and to limit access to it.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the waitlist and site, and where the law requires.
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until they are no longer needed for the purpose you gave them.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and to correct it. To do that, or to be removed from the waitlist, contact us using the details below.
Questions about this policy or your information: contact us. You may also raise a privacy concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
